Jade Teran is a results driven business development executive with over 20 years of diverse experience spanning private equity, commercial real estate, architecture, engineering, and financial services. Known for her strategic vision and deep industry relationships, Jade currently serves as Executive Vice President of Business Development at Reef Capital Partners, one of Utah’s largest and most active private equity firms.
In this role, she leads national and international investment outreach, with a focus on the acquisition and development of premier golf course properties across the United States. She plays a pivotal role in securing sponsorships for Utah's PGA and LPGA tournaments held at Reef’s flagship property, Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah a rising star in the national golf and resort scene.
Jade also served as Senior Associate and Director of Business Development at Utah’s largest architecture firm, FFKR Architects. Where she has been instrumental in growing the firm’s commercial footprint since 2020. Her work connects top-tier design and engineering talent with clients across a broad spectrum of industries.
Her leadership and expertise have earned her a seat on the prestigious NAIOP Utah Board of Directors for the past seven years, where she champions innovation in commercial real estate development. She also served on the board of the Canyons Education Foundation board for five years, leveraging her real estate expertise to benefit the public education system. Notably, in 2024 Jade played a central role alongside Brandon Fugal of Colliers International in the landmark sale of the eBay Draper campus to the Canyons School District, a strategic transaction that saved the district over hundreds of millions of dollars in saved construction costs.
Earlier in her career, Jade spent 14 years in broadcast journalism, working with major networks including FOX, CBS, and the NBC. She later served as a financial reporter and content producer for Zions Investments, where she developed nationwide educational content on bond markets and financial products.
Jade holds an MBA from Western Governors University, which she completed while balancing a full-time career, frequent travel, and pregnancy. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Utah, where she was also a student-athlete. She has continued her professional development through graduate certificates from the University of Utah and the Kellogg Executive Education program at Northwestern University.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jade has been married to her husband Jeff for 20 years, and they are proud parents to two sons, Jonas and Jack. As a family, they are passionate about golf and enjoy spending time on the course together.

Chris Mulhall is a seasoned PGA professional whose lifelong dedication to golf forms the foundation of Ali’s game. When they’re not practicing or preparing for tournaments, Chris is still the steady force behind Ali’s journey, shaping her ambitions as much as her technique.
Derek Fox brings decades of golf experience, competitive insight, and a passion for teaching to his role as putting coach. From a young age he immersed himself in the game, earning state championships, attending Weber State University on a full golf scholarship, and competing on mini-tours and at PGA Q-School.
Over the years, Derek has honed not just his own game but the art of instruction. He studied under top professionals and leading coaches like Bruce Summerhays, Mike Malaska, and Dean Reinmuth, learning how to translate advanced technique into usable, confidence-building lessons.
As Ali’s putting coach, Derek’s focus is sharp: dial in consistency, eliminate doubt on the greens, and build a mindset that performs under pressure. He blends deep technical knowledge with patience and clarity, making what seems complex feel natural.
Beyond the course, Derek is committed to lifelong learning and continuous improvement, both for himself and for the players he guides.
Jon Osborn (MS, Sport & Performance Psychology, University of Utah) brings elite mental skills coaching to Ali’s team through Utah Sport Psych.
He works one-on-one or in group settings, focusing on performance psychology techniques like visualization, stress control, focus training, and resilience, all tailored to athletes competing under pressure.
As Ali’s mental coach, Jon’s insights help sharpen her mindset, manage competition-day anxiety, and build confidence that stays steady through swings, putts, and every course challenge.
Outside mental prep work, Jon is an advocate for continuous learning, using evidence-based methods to elevate not just performance but the mindset behind it.
